Protect your skin from the sun
Like we have already discussed, exposure to sun (and UV rays) can accelerate the ageing of skin, so do not skip out on your sunscreen.
Apply an SPF of between 30 to 50 everyday, whether it is sunny or overcast. The UV rays can penetrate clouds, so do not save your sunscreen just for hot/sunny/beach days. Find the right one for your skin type and colour, and slather some on every time you step out of your house.
If you feel like your skin is especially sensitive, you can even wear wide brimmed hats, and sunglasses.
Moisturise daily
Moisturising hydrates, conditions, and nourishes your skin. It traps water in our skin, making it look youthful and supple. It becomes especially important as our skin gets drier with age, which increases the risk of wrinkles.
Experts suggest that moisturisers with hyaluronic acid and vitamin C are especially effective, but consult your dermatologist before you invest in something which is more on the clinical side.
Quit smoking
We’ve mentioned it before and we will mention it again. Smoking damages your skin, tobacco has harmful effects on collagen and skin elasticity. Also, nicotine causes your blood vessels to constrict, which means that the blood flow to your skin is affected.

Stay hydrated

Can wrinkles be treated
Of course there are ways to reduce your wrinkles or get rid of them completely.
There is medication available like retinol, alpha hydroxy acids, kinetin, coenzyme Q10 and copper peptides. But please do get the opinion of your dermatologist before going ahead with any of these.
People with deeper creases who wish to entirely get rid of wrinkles will have to indulge and invest in more aggressive techniques like botox and plastic surgery.
